vandalized where even one was lit on fire. business leaders believe that these juveniles are only detracting from protesters. >> there is a group that wants to cause problems break windows, do damage raise hell what have you. regardless, may day is just another excuse for them to come out and do it. >> banks were also targeted. so far police arrested more than a dozen people city leaders are still assessing the damage live coverage coming up at 8:00 p.m. later tonight. a driver is accused of driving through a crowd and mowing down people. one person is dead, another fighting for their life. take a look where the driver crashed into the restaurant early this morning. the driver who was driving a truck and has not yet been identified also hit two other vehicles. right now four of the victims are in critical condition. a security guard was able to

pull the person out of the truck. the driver is now facing vehicular manslaughter one witness said the driver appeared to try to hit the people. and this home invasion left two dead after 9:00 p.m. last night. officers say the homeowner shot and killed the two intruders. they believe the suspects were trying to break into the home. earlier this week four people were arrested during a home invasion robbery at the same house. we have a follow-up for you on a controversy at a soccer field near levi stadium. the santa clara youth soccer league is holding a protest today regarding an issue between the field to teams play on and a neighboring stadium. the problem is it is too close to the smoking section. this is video of a previous protest. we have a reporter on scene and

will bring you more at 8:00 p.m. tonight. and perhaps you saw this happening as it went under way. a royal princess has been born. take a look here they came out of the hospital at st. mary's hospital in london to give the world a look at the princess. the name of the new prince assess of cambridge has not been announced. and more from london. >> reporter: prince william, the duchess of cambridge, kate and their baby girl are now back at kensington palace. kate was brought here at 6:00 a.m. london time just six and a half hours later giving birth to a baby girl.

kensington palace tweeting out the news the healthy baby girl fourth in line to the throne. the first princess to be born so close to the line of succession in over 50 years since 1950. the duchess of cambridge, prince william and their new baby all came out, stood on the steps here of the hospital, waved to the crowd, gave everyone a nice long look at their beautiful hours-old baby girl. then prince william drove the family back home to kensington palace. prince george was seen as well today. he gave a royal wave from the front steps and then went inside to visit his baby sister. the entire family will stay for a few days at kensington palace. they will have a visit from the queen. they will likely announce the name of the princess in the next day, possibly longer.
